I sincerely believe the infiltration into our political process has "stifling the energy debate" as a page 1 priority.
Leftist want wind power, but they want to put them out in the middle of nowhere where I would need to stare at them all day..
Batteries are the biggest drawback to "renewables" of wind and solar... the mining process and toxic waste produced remain harmful for decades....
there is no such thing as 100% clean energy.
I've never paid too much attention to environmental stuff, but I read Apocalypse Never recently and it was fantastic. Touched on all this stuff and it's written by a guy who was a big leftist/environmentalist. It's crazy how effective the fear mongering against nuclear has been.
