Apologies if this has been brought up, etc....
It left my mind quickly, but one moment that got me hot under the collar last night was Joe Pedo lamenting "the talk" that black parents have to have with their children. He just couldn't imagine that these parents had to tell their children to be polite to police officers, to keep their hands on the steering wheel and not reach for the glove compartment, etc. Can any normal human beings out there, regardless of skin color, imagine NOT telling their children that? It ought to be SOP when you're pulled over, if for no other reason than being polite might help you avoid a ticket. But nope, what millions of people do as a matter of courtesy is evidence of the plight of black men. Personally, I can't believe that in America today a rich white man still has to have a talk with his son and tell him not to smoke crack and fuck every hole in the family.

Am white and have been given the talk. The talk isnt about the police being bad, its about how there are bad people and the cops have to be ready for them, so listen up and dont do anything stupid (also never take the orange cap off a toy gun, did it once and didnt get any toy guns for years)
