I ordered a plate carrier in early September. Still waiting for it. The wait time for stuff like this is ridiculous.

Yeah I ended up just buying mine on ebay, little more expensive but shipped immediately.

You can make one out of ceramic tiles, denim and construction glue. I don’t think it’ll be necessary tho

I grabbed one at the beginnign of summer because of all the blm rioting. Took about a month and a half because of the cut design

I went to my local army navy surplus and found a legit plate carrier that already had soft armor for low velocity rounds in it for 150 bucks. Plates for it are 200 a piece though

I pray daily that it won’t come to full scale bloodshed. But, I am ready and willing to defend me and mine should it come to it.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Can't wait until availability goes up and prices go down again. I finally have time for target practice and don't want to get into my stash from 2016.

I'm pretty new to exercising my second amendment but I've heard you're supposed to be cycling through old ammo so it doesn't go stale, if you will. Is that not true?

Bullets are disappearing off the shelf around my area. Of course its hunting season time but that doesn't explain some of the specialty ammo. We bought another AR and those are in short supply, too.

I went to my local shop right before Elk rifle opened. They had one box of .30-06 that was $40+ for 20 rounds... and 300 Win Mag. That was it. 6 total boxes of ammo for centerfire. Some .17 HMR and .22 mag for rimfire. And only birdshot for shotgun.

I got lucky and called a buddy who works at a different store. He put some FMJ .308 aside for me to sight in my GF gun and a box of Federal Power shock for hunting.
