Their plan is to have a brand new-worse-than-the-last-covid every year for the foreseeable future. Of course it will look an awful lot like Influenza A and B under the microscope, but nobody believes those science deniers.
Their attacks on Trump started before the election and have not stopped since. The election will not stop the attacks. China Virus plus whatever they have planned for next. Some serious arrests will jolt some people, however. Stopping the funding of the attack groups (BLM, etc) will help also.

Rumors from Canada suggest a COVID21 thats much more deadly starting in February.
I don't 100% trust the source because I'm generally skeptical, but it's a possibility.
