I think the disconnect we had was Beau only died five or so years ago, when he was the AG in Delaware. Hunter’s grift has been going on much longer than that, so I don’t think Beau’s death put any additional expectation on Hunter. It just meant Joe would have to be the public face of the family until someone else came along to carry things (maybe a grandkid, but besides the one Hunter molested I don’t know how old they are or what they’re doing with their lives).
