Won't this just get kick to the SC, and now ACB will be there?

There are only a few days until the election and I think ACB's confirmation is next Monday, so it's an open question how quickly they can get to some of the cases.

Kavanagh and Gorish both recused or didn't vote on last rulings, I fear she will too

the media will pressure them to recuse

3
21JAN2025 3 points ago +3 / -0

The last ruling was 4-4 there were no recusals.

dark_kniggit 1 point ago +1 / -0

No they aren't. This will be shut down by the circuit court that PA is in just like all the other BS they have tried to pull over the last month. The circuit court for PA is almost all conservative. Its stupid they are even trying this honestly. Its the circuit or the district court, i can't remember, but they stopped the other shit the PA SC has tried to pull.

No this appeal would have to go directly to the US Supreme Court.

11
Drinkup4 11 points ago +11 / -0

If Barret's there we win the appeal.

NancyPeloci 3 points ago +6 / -3

in less than 2 weeks?

7
FragrantDude 7 points ago +7 / -0

The SC has fast track provisions just for cases like this.

NancyPeloci 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great! Thanks for the info.

State supreme court decisions don't get appealed to the Circuit Courts of Appeals, I believe. They'd have to petition the US Supreme Court for certiorari.

There's no guarantee that the Supreme Court agrees to hear the case, or hear the case in time, although they may put a rush on it. If ACB isn't confirmed I think it'd be a 4-4 with Roberts flipping.

Got to hand it to the Democrats, they know how to play the long game. Impeachment, PLANdemic, voter fraud under the guise of health and safety

kek_saved_the_world [S] 10 points ago +13 / -3

They can print fake ballots and steal it it's not about the voters

6
Lockshy 6 points ago +6 / -0

As far as democrats are concerned the relationship between voters and votes is merely incidental.

5
casualdiverter 5 points ago +6 / -1

They're not playing the long game. They're reactionaries and they rely on their allies in media to cover for their sloppy planning.

2
TearofLys 2 points ago +2 / -0

They know how to do everything except run on good ideas that average Americans can get behind.

Same. If I knew the election was 100% fair, I know Trump wins easy peasy. With their slimy cheating ways, it makes this far closer than it should be.

Somebody needs to fucking clean house and get rid of these commie fucking judges. It's getting fucking ridiculous. Iowa tossed out SC judges that were pieces of shit. Time for other states to follow through.

Hmmm...and who's on gets to the Court on Monday? :D

We will win. Let them spend all their resources stealing a state we don't need to win.

I stuck my dick in ink and stamped my ballot with it, we good?

That would nullify the requirement that the ballot have a signature. You can’t make legislation from the bench.

2
MrMxyzptlk 2 points ago +2 / -0

Almost like we shouldn't be allowing mail in voting at all. Gosh if only there was some way to issue IDs that guaranteed ones right/eligibility to vote. We could call it... Voter ID!

2
mariox 2 points ago +2 / -0

This makes voter fraud so easy a caveman can do it.

1
Kavantar 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not Cool!

1
Friend_of_John_Galt 1 point ago +1 / -0

Keep voting, PA pedes! Give the good lawyers more ammo!

1
pepe_ladi_pede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can this be mitigated by in person votes? They can only rob votes that weren’t cast? Like, doesn’t registered voters cap the amount of votes and that’s why they wanted to screw with the census and keep dead people on the books?

1
Ramasun 1 point ago +1 / -0

Old Pede here. I'm not siding with the ruling so much as who is deciding whether or not the signature is legit. I first voted as soon as I was eligible, and that was a long time ago. I have lived in the same state (with the exception of 3 years active duty) my entire life.

My point is that, after more than 30 years, I doubt my signature looks anything like when I registered at 18 YO.. Time takes a toll on things. 100% voter ID is the way to go.

Total MAGA

rest assured Pede, no matter the law, no matter what some court or judge or police say.. THEY WILL BE THROWING OUT AS MANY TRUMP VOTES AS POSSIBLE

Proton_Pufferfish 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is fake, it's posted in the future not even 9:24PM yet

1
IfItAintRightItAintR 1 point ago +1 / -0

Won't matter. When MI, WI, AZ, NC, and FL all get called early for Trump, they will stop "counting" in PA.

The PA legislature can clarify election law/regulation Monday morning and there is nothing the PA court can do about it, even if they tried to injunction/block the decision it would now go again to the newly seated SCotUS and be kicked in their faces.

NoStumpoElTrumpo 0 points ago +3 / -3

Yep, PA will flip blue after Nov 3
