If only the uncle would have went to college for computer coding 40 years ago... This is coming from someone that probably works at Jimmy Johns and is demanding $15 an hour.
And the worst part is that there are actually likes on the reply. That means at least one other person thought that was a good response to the main comment (I am assuming xir liked their own comment).
CompSci grads are a dime for two-dozen. I know, because I run a large-ish team of them.
In recent months, unless you have the experience (3-5+ years), or you're willing to work for a sweatshop like Amazon that works you 80+hrs/wk but only pays you somewhere between jack and shit? You ain't getting a job out there as a codemonkey. I hired two folks three months ago, and had to wade through 200+ resumes to do it.
...I wonder what her degree is in? Prolly didn't involve math or economics.

That’s perfectly okay. It doesn’t mean they are lesser or less intelligent. It means they are utilizing their skills in a different way. A great society needs professionals in all types of jobs.
Telling someone to learn coding who has no passion for it, doesn’t solve anything besides potentially flooding that profession with people who don’t want to be there.
So Deb shut the fuck up, let the market decide where our energy will come from and let people decide what they want to do with their jobs/careers.

That stunning and brave gal probably has a trust fund paying for her feminist dance theory education. Glad she was put in her place.
Whenever I see that stance it pisses me off.
