You really need to turn off the proximity tracking chip it’s the U1 chip. iPhones it’s about the same in every phone. On android it depends on the model. It detects you and your proximity from other devices.

I'm sorry that I've not been able to read about this issues..... I recall something about universities wanting the scholarship athletes to wear tracking devices to make sure that they attend classes.
Personally, I'd tell them to shove it......But I can see people going along with it. We really need to teach people better about the issues with letting privacy go.
