Mitch McConnell may not have always been based, but he is the best political strategist within the Republican Party in Congress. I never researched into him deep enough as I should, but from a glance he seems to have always been a solid holding piece who is loyal to the Republican Party, somewhat lacking on personal convictions but with an idea of this is the party and this is what it needs to do to win in process and procedure to hammer through the Senate. There is not a single person I think who could win against McConnell in the Senate in terms of political strategy around legislation and procedure.

I wonder if they ever go against the House. I bet he'd lay the smackdown on Nancy.

Here's a guess. Deep State have tried to kill Mitch, to derail the ACB confirmation--I think I know how, looking at those bruises BUT just in case--don't want to give out the 'strategy'.

Chuck and Nancy have multiple heads. Their heads are detachable. As this is a family oriented website I am not going to tell you what the other heads are doing while not mounted on their bodies but suffice to say it involves basements, pizza joints, and innocent children.

This is the election right here. ACB's confirmation is the only thing preventing the outright theft of a US election. When ACB is confirmed: Trump wins without question.

66
newuser999 66 points ago +68 / -2

When ACB is confirmed: Trump wins without question.

Is this assuming the election is decided in the court system?

93
Ithrowawaay 93 points ago +96 / -3

If Biden refuses to concede, which seems to be the M.O., Supreme Court will have to rule.

74
GitmObama 74 points ago +76 / -2

Trump will not concede either after they steal.

99
GreatFunana 99 points ago +99 / -0

Logically speaking, Trump would be foolish to concede with these laws in place. He won't concede without a supreme court ruling ensuring these laws are marked as unconstitutional.

I can't stress how important this is: if they are marked as unconstitutional, the Dems can NEVER pull these shenanigans again in election (unless this ruling is somehow over-ruled).

The dems are desperate. They know this is it. They are pulling out all the stop legal or not to steal the election. If Trump wins, he no longer fears losing re-election. He can give the finger to all those people he wanted to fire in the FBI and other positions but couldn't because its no longer a political quagmire to him having a second term.

With the scum removed, they can finally go after these assholes in court with people loyal to him. And since we have TONS of evidence showing how corrupt the Dems are, they are in full panic mode.

Make no mistake: if the Dems lose, this is the outright END of the DNC as we know it, and they will have to rebuild. That is why this shit is happening, and that is why Trump has to win.

If he doesn't: its the end of the USA. I see no way this ends without civil war if the Dems try something as insane as packing the courts.

28
kirovri 28 points ago +28 / -0

If Trump wins, he no longer fears losing re-election. He can give the finger to all those people he wanted to fire in the FBI and other positions but couldn't because its no longer a political quagmire to him having a second term.

I've been saying & hoping this as well. Since he won the 2016 election it's all been about re-election. With every thing he does, he has to consider the optics of how the lamestream media will spin it, and how it will affect his re-election chances.
But once Trump is confirmed as the winner of this election, that is all over, he doesn't have to give a shit anymore, as long as it's not illegal he can do whatever he wants to make America great again. That must have the corrupt left terrified. And unlike 2016 where they all expected him to lose because of the polls, this time they know that him winning is a possibility, regardless of the fake polls. The left must be melting down over the fear of Trump winning again.
Dare I say lock her up?

14
K-Harbour 14 points ago +14 / -0

The timing and outcomes are pretty interesting:

  1. Trump loses: he can do whatever he wants Nov 4 till January 20
  2. uncertain election: he waits till Electoral College decision is final, then does whatever he wants*
  3. Decisive Trump win, Dems concede: he can do whatever he wants*, safer after Electoral College meets

*If he wins the House & Senate *If he loses House, Senate — he may need to tread carefully till he is sure he is impeachment proof

You can picture additional permutations along these lines.

17
bjjmike69 17 points ago +17 / -0

Theres no way he gets impeached. You need 66 or 67 votes in the senate

13
TrumpPlissken 13 points ago +13 / -0

You left off an important part of the first scenario:

If Trump loses, he still has the option to run for president again in 2024, Grover Cleveland-style.

12
kirovri 12 points ago +12 / -0 (edited)

Good thing impeachment requires a 2/3 majority in the Senate, they can make up bullshit reasons like last time but they can't remove him from office if he doesn't break the law. NO COLLUSION. NO OBSTRUCTION.

1
Philhelm 1 point ago +1 / -0

They will stretch out the election results in order to limit Trump's ability to retaliate.

5
skf93 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hopefully when he wins, he still might need to be careful for 2 more years until the midterms are over. If he has a Republican house and Senate after that, then there is nothing stopping him.

8
Cyer6 8 points ago +8 / -0

He needs to go scorched earth on Nov 4th no matter what. We can't keep saying, "we need to wait to the next election" because or optics, possible future impeachment or whatever. He has to completely root out the deep state quickly, fire every Obama appointee and anyone else who's suspect. Order investigations and demand prosecutions.

4
skf93 4 points ago +4 / -0

But what good is going scorched earth right out of the gate going to accomplish if the Democrats take over Congress in the next midterms? Average voters might think he has gone powerhungry, since they generally are unaware of the government corruption, and that may lead to a democrat congress. The democrats might impeach Trump because of it, or at the very least halt or slow down Trumps agenda for America. He has to do this strategically.

4
Racerspuff 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, this was the biggest (and understandable) mistake he made. Everyone from Obama's shit should have been fired immediately.

2
Loc12 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep, then its going to be he needs to be careful after the midterms so he doesn't hurt the next Rep candidate. It never ends

31
fuckoffspez 31 points ago +31 / -0

It’s already being decided in the court system.

https://apnews.com/article/virus-outbreak-state-courts-voting-pennsylvania-amy-coney-barrett-c13e057a7fd30c57fbf23c1e98a4be9c

Ignore the negative spin. Roberts went with the liberal minority to dead lock, and thus leave a lower court decision in place:

The justices split 4-4 Monday over a Republican plea to undo a state court order and force elections officials to ignore absentee ballots received after Election Day, Nov. 3. The tie vote left the Pennsylvania court order in effect and allows mailed ballots to be counted if they are received by Nov. 6. Chief Justice John Roberts and his three liberal colleagues voted to leave the court order in place.

We need ACB today. We needed her 4 days ago.

This is the election.

23
Returningtogod 23 points ago +23 / -0

Yes, this really bugs me. The Senate dicked around with unnecessary procedural drama instead of just taking it to the full senate and voting. Trying once again to be diplomatic, with zero chance the state media will let up on them regardless. These guys have to realize that the media will never portray them in a positive light, no matter what they do. They should have ram-rodded this through and let the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEING commence. imho

21
GreatFunana 21 points ago +21 / -0 (edited)

They had to do it this way. Wait to the last minute so no other fucking state with a liberal agenda to ruin the states tries to put in another law that will fuck with the election.

This was the game. This is why so many freaked out when RBG died. This is why the Dems lost their god damn mind. This is why she was on life support (speculation of course). They could not allow Trump another Supreme Court seat lest they strike down all their bullshit laws that benefit them in stealing the election.

I said when RBG died: Trump just won the election. Pending we all go vote and don't get stupid. I sure as hell did.

6
GreatFunana 6 points ago +6 / -0

This times 1000.

23
Granite_MAGA 23 points ago +23 / -0

There is about a 0.01% change this election does NOT go to the Supreme Court.

At the end of election week there will be huge swaths of Democrat cities claiming they "found" enough ballots to easily give Joe Biden the victory. These ballots will have no valid names, lost envelopes, etc and literally be bins of "votes for Joe".

The White House will have to challenge that this kind of blatant chicanery and fraud is not allowable. You cannot count absentee ballots without a clear chain of custody which millions of them will not. It will go before SCOTUS.

SCOTUS will have to rule (at least per the Constitution) that, no, you cannot just declare trucks full of paper with someone's name on it a "vote" because each one of them disenfranchises a citizen who actually did vote with a clear chain of custody of their ballot.

With RBG and Roberts......there is no way in hell they wouldn't have ruled in favor of the Democrats.

Barrett, like her namesake rifle, may save this Republic.

In fact, the wonderful mom Barrett will make use of the much louder and awfully destructive one unnecessary. For now.

9
UpTrump 9 points ago +9 / -0

Is anyone slightly concerned they haven't pulled out all the stops on ACB? Like what they did to Kavanaugh?

18
GreatFunana 18 points ago +18 / -0

Everything is just political theater. The dems know they can't do shit. They don't even technically have to do hearings.

The Dems tried calling recess, blocking, and stopping the nomination every way they could. Tried doing surprise roll-calls to stop the nomination to get a shit vote to shutdown the senate. They have to. Its the only way they are going to keep their phony-baloney jobs.

The Republicans in the Senate have been on point to shut every last bit of that nonsense down.

5
UpTrump 5 points ago +5 / -0

Thanks that is reassuring!

6
GreatFunana 6 points ago +6 / -0

11
Granite_MAGA 11 points ago +11 / -0

They may have a surprise but I think they're all just falling back to court-packing and hoping their plan to 20th Pelosi into office is going to work.

They seem to be tactically retreating at this point. Trump is becoming far too open with what he knows of their corruption and I'm sure some of the rats are backing off before he reveals their little secrets too.

Remember. Trump was the billionaire everyone wanted to hang out with. He had a slight bad boy persona with all the women around him all the time. He knows allllll their secrets. He tweeted about that high level NY state executive who got taken down for beating and torturing his wife and other women several years before it actually happened.

They are afraid of him on some level because 15 or 20 years ago when they all used to clamor for a chance to hang out at the hot tub at some swanky resort with him they were all a little too honest about their deals. No doubt many tried to rope him into their little schemes.

6
MakeAmericaLegendary 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't think they have time. Mitch isn't playing around and they have a week and a half to pull the wool over every American's eyes. Fighting a losing optics battle for the SC is irrelevant when they intend to pack the Court anyway.

1
rn10950 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think they understood that it was too close to the election to do a Kavanaugh-style circus.

1
bitterbut_true 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah. Reckon its 50-50 she recuses. Pass the buck for the noble cause of 'appearances'. It'll be THE big shock. Hope I'm wrong.

8
UpTrump 8 points ago +10 / -2

If it comes down to Pennsylvania, yes. Their new draconian absentee ruling will ensure it

4
Cyer6 4 points ago +4 / -0

They just can't deny a ballot when the signatures don't match? Not enough to swing that state after what Biden did last night with the oil comment. I believe what Rush said a couple of days ago. The dems will attempt and in some cases will succeed in cheating out some votes, but there's a lot more things in place to minimize it than we know so don't get too stressed out over it.

Second. Trump is showing a lot of positivity and confidence lately. Not someone who looks stressed about it, maybe concern, but I think he knows this one's a done deal and that goes for the House and Senate as well.

Third. This peace deal he signed today is a sign that other countries know he's got this in the bag.

It BETTER happen too. I don't want to hear any excuses.

3
mmoff2 3 points ago +3 / -0

What can Supreme Court do if results are challenged? Recounts? Order new election? I can't seem to find an answer

12
Libertysheimdall1 12 points ago +12 / -0

Go back to Bush v Gore in 2000.

The Supreme Court established for itself very broad powers to regulate the fundamental fairness and integrity of voting processes, pursuant to the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment.

These voting laws are state laws, but in federal elections the SCOTUS view is that they can hold any laws—and more importantly any counting procedures the states decide to use—unconstitutional if they do not meet appropriate standards.

9
GreatFunana 9 points ago +9 / -0

If the laws are marked as unconstitutional, it makes their legal precedent moot. Basically all those votes with 'invalid signatures' or votes counted after the 3rd can be thrown out.

8
mmoff2 8 points ago +8 / -0

Good to know. So voter fraud issue WILL be dealt with in Supreme Court in case Biden gets past 270 EVs

9
GreatFunana 9 points ago +9 / -0

The Dems lost. They know it. I'm eating my popcorn, drinking my beer, and watching the show unfold. They are basically neutered unless by some unholy pact signed the country actually vote Biden in.

3
UpTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

It will probably get to the SC even if Biden has fewer than 270 votes. SC will decide this

4
GreatFunana 4 points ago +4 / -0

Probably. I will be at home, drinking my American beer, mining salt as the media desperately lose their minds and try to call the election in favor of Biden... when they know it won't play out that way.

I know Mitch isn't the most popular guy among Conservatives but he's been solid at filling court seats. However, if everyone had to endure the wall-to-wall onslaught of Amy McGrath commercials that Kentuckians have had to suffer through, everyone would be as big a Mitch fan as we are of Trump. If you thought Biden's speeches/commercials were intolerable, you haven't seen a McGrath commercial.

Here's the summary: I'm not Mitch McConnell, I dubiously claim to be mother and a former fighter pilot, I have no actual plans or policies that I want to make public, and I'm definitely not a lesbian...that's all I have so vote for me. Then run variations of that commercial four times every commercial break.

8
napoleon4321 8 points ago +8 / -0

Is there any office in Kentucky that Amy McGrath hasn't run for and lost by 20 points?

8
TheThreeSeashells 8 points ago +8 / -0

I had a good laugh when I saw they were rehashing her for a Senate run. She lost pretty convincingly two years ago when running in Kentucky's sixth congressional district...a district that includes ALL of Lexington. So she couldn't win a Congressional race that included one of Kentucky's two blueberries in the tomato soup, but somehow is expected to win a statewide race? She was also completely destroyed outside of Lexington and Frankfort. In most counties, she finished 20 to 30 points behind and even over 40 in a couple of counties.

Oh, but she paid Rex Chapman to do a commercial for her, so that should change everything.

4
deleted 4 points ago +5 / -1
8
TheThreeSeashells 8 points ago +8 / -0

She's not running for governor. She's running for U.S. Senate.

Beshear's election was a fluke. Republicans won every other seat that was up for statewide election last year. Beshear spent four years as AG (an election he only won because of his pappy's name) smearing Bevin and filing frivolous lawsuits. Then lied to teachers about their pensions, falsely blaming Bevin even though the pensions were fully funded. Teachers, being the morons that they are, believed the Left's lies instead of facts and turned out hard against Bevin.

Then, Bevin ran one of the worst campaigns I've ever seen. He refused to counter any of Beshear's lies and only ran two types of commercials: 1. Bevin is against abortion and 2. Bevin adopted a lot of kids. Even when Trump did a rally on election eve, Bevin barely got any applause.

There was also widespread voter fraud in Louisville. Given all of that, Beshear still barely won. I think Daniel Cameron may run against Beshear in 2023 and given his high popularity and the fact a lot of people have turned against Beshear for his CCP virus tyranny, particularly in regard to churches, Beshear will be a bad one-term memory. This is if he's not impeached before then. He's facing a lot of legal issues, aside from his CCP Virus tyranny.

4
napoleon4321 4 points ago +4 / -0

Cameron definitely has higher office in his future if he doesn't completely screw it up. I agree that the governorship is his if he runs in '23. Or he might wait to run and succeed Mitch in the Senate in '26 (I can't imagine Mitch would run for another term).

4
TheThreeSeashells 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thomas Massie might be a nice replacement for McConnell.

I think they're going to try to drag out the Breonna Taylor crap as long as possible to try to hang it on Cameron. Despite the fact he's done everything right. But that doesn't matter to the morons who are still hooting and hollering over it and spreading false information despite all the facts coming out and proving the activists completely wrong.

The voter ID law wasn't repealed. There's a veto proof majority in the assembly, so anything they pass becomes law. The issue is that the Sec. of State allowed a change to the voting procedure for THIS election that essentially served as an way around the Photo ID law that the governor hated in the first place. The Sec. of State is the evil doer in this instance since he did the bidding of the Left, then tried to pass it off as a compromise...which it isn't.

The assembly only meets from January to April, so they couldn't override the decision. The AG filed a lawsuit to force the governor to recall the assembly for an emergency session, but a piece of crap judge who doesn't understand the law ruled against it. So there's been a conspiracy of incompetence and lawlessness other than the governor at play here.

And when it happens, and not before, I will donate to Mitch’s campaign. Tick tock Mitch.

7
Returningtogod 7 points ago +7 / -0

I was thinking the exact same. I get texts from Mitch all the time asking me to help him save the Senate majority. He has gotten a pass from me, sometimes really reluctantly, for the past four years because he prevented the vote on Garland. When he gets ACB on the court I too will make a last-minute donation to his campaign, and will give him a pass for the next four years.

There are other more Republican senators in desperation for funding right now than Turtle.

fuckoffspez 1 point ago +1 / -0

And I will deliver when they deliver me ACB.

And the longer it takes the less I am contributing.

Call a vote today, Saturday.

Hawaiian Judge: NO, LATER than Monday

3
ivan_iii_of_russia 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hawaiian Judge: And, since "Monday" is not defined, he must have been referring to Monday January 25, 2021 (if Trump loses) or Monday January 27, 2025 (If Trump wins).

everylastjuan 3 points ago +3 / -0

On a sad note, very likely the Hawaiian Judge memes will come to an end. On a bright note, very likely the Supremes will eventually outlaw nationwide injunctions by local district courts.

they should have the confirmation happen during the Sasha vs Bayley match because yay women's evolution, and then Trump can chokeslam Nadler off the cell.

the other joke i considered was, JR saying "BAH GAWD NADLER IS BROKEN IN HALF" before the match has even started, because that's just how Nadler looks normally.

“Before we go any further, we should shut off the cameras, close the Senate and talk face-to-face about what this might mean for the country.” - Chuck Schumer

Funny how the democrats always want the cameras shut off. Almost like they don't want the American people to know what they actually think.

I hope Trump wins in a landslide because of “found ballots” and the Dems have to eat their own shit about the integrity of mail in voting.
