Holy shit. I forgot all about this. My brother in law and I were very close. He died driving drunk in a single car accident a couple years back. The last text to his mom said "2020 Vision". I'm not sure the context but I know those words were in there because he was an organ donor. We were called probably 10 minutes after we found out he was dead asking if they could have them for someone and my wife said yes.
His eyes were donated, and about the only thing they could use I guess. He had a form of MD so he had a lot of problems but was otherwise fine and dealing with those. I think depression got him in the end looking back. He was always kind of up and down. I miss him terribly.
Him, his grandpa and I watched the 2016 election together. I'm the only one left alive at this point. I think of him often, and am designing a garden to his memory in the back yard. He left his life insurance policy to my son. He was my closest friend.
This hit home a bit. Maybe it was prophetic. Time will tell.
