I debate with "environmentalist" that don't like Nuclear power. Baseload power means nothing to them. They don't care that solar and wind is not enough.
"EVERYONE IS GOING TO DIE". Yet they refuse anything that will lower CO2.
Every year from 1955 and on it's "The world will end in 10 years". Every year it's 'Solar, wind, and hydro will be enough". It's been over a half a century.
Let's be real. We could put up Nuclear clean plants with almost no deaths and have the world make no pollution in 30 years. That's a fact. Cheap, efficient, clean energy in 30 years.
The answer is no. Sure solar and wind kill more people every year than Nuclear power has in its history. Sure it's just a matter of time. It's all garbage. We don't need the ME or anyone else. Nuclear power can give us unlimited safe energy for generations now. With tens of thousands of lives saved a year.

Not to mention it employs way more people consistently in mining. Fuel preparation. Transport. Generation and disposal of waste.
France gets 70% of their power from nuclear, it is one of the few smart things they have done for themselves
