So many patriots fleeing though, understandably. I left 12 years ago and I run into new arrivals regularly in my area. I am hopeful for the Hispanic vote though.
I left 2 years ago, my brother just left this past year. A lot of people we know are leaving soon too. I always say it’s a shame it’s run so poorly by the left because it really is a great state. It’ll always be a second home to me(grew up in NJ and back now) so I would absolutely LOVE to see it flip red.
Yep I left 2 years ago, my aunt and uncle left 6 years ago, one of my cousins left 2 years ago, the other 1 year ago. We are all "conservative" (or at least not Democrat, one cousin is independent the rest are Trump supporters). The only family left in CA is my conservative father (who wants to move now) and my brainwashed liberal sister who regularly texts to me that I am a racist.
I had to do the same thing. I disabled text notifications (too many late night "OMG KIMBERLEY GUILFOYLE SPEAKS LIKE A NAZI" type texts) and stopped responding unless it is totally non-political and not taking advantage of my beliefs. It is totally freeing, you are right. Deleted Facebook this year too, helped a lot. None of them liked me anyways, time to move on and find better friends!
No. Love it here in Maines 2nd (northern) district. Dem moonbats are pretty scarce up here. In 2016 candidate Trump came to the 2nd district FOUR times !!! just to assure our 1 electoral vote....
Maine and Nebraska are the only states to allot electoral votes by congressional district..

It was red just a few decades ago. It can happen but as someone else mentioned, with legalized ballot harvesting it can be hard.
