In order to get your permit to carry, you are required to go to downtown Murderapolis, M-F from 7:30-4 and stand in line at a shitty gov building. So if you have a job, you have to take vacation time to exercise your rights. Then go to the most dangerous part of the state, unarmed. Pay for parking garage spot. The whole thing is completely fucked.
Then there’s the fact that Hennepin county prosecutors and slanted jury’s are so communist that if you ever had to defend yourself, you’d be like an ant put under a magnifying glass. They’d find a way to press charges... criminally or ruin your life in civil court. Criminals get a free pass, and they look past their malice. While good citizens... even cops... are held to impossible standards. No castle law, no right to defend property, duty to retreat. It can almost always be argued in this state that using your gun in self defense is negligent and criminal. They could easily pack jury full of latte sipping nancies to convict you.
