Hey pedes, I'm gonna go vote in VA today, but I need help with one of the options! This is only my second election so there's a lot I don't understand.
I did some research and I'm still doing the think-thonk.
It's a dice roll. Voting 'yes' will protect us should the Democrats keep their majority, but it will also give the democrats the power to stonewall the Republicans should the Republicans ever get the majority back. Dems will just force judicial oversight/decisions. The opposition is purely dem for this reason, because they don't want to give the Republican minority any power. Support is bipartisan because I guess some dems are worried they're gonna lose their seats in November.

What do you guys make of this redistricting policy change?
