Good work...I'm trying and seem to be making some progress with 2.

Hopefully by election day they will be ready to vote for POTUS.

They can be at the very least a Trump tolerator, if not a supporter!

How?

We are about to enter into the greatest economic recovery in history!

ShadowInv 4 points ago +4 / -0

We are in the largest bubble mankind has ever seen, especially when it comes to housing. I'm not sure what a recovery would be. It should be lower house prices and higher interest rates.

Yeah, our economy has been a farce for a long time. Trump was honest about it and the Fed manipulation the first time he ran. Unfortunately he isn't being as honest now.

If Trump didn’t respond the way he did to COVID we would have entered a Depression the likes of which that would make the 1929 Depression look like a cake walk.

Trump was in a loose-loose situation with COVID recession.

It was either enter a guaranteed depression in March, or print out a lot of money and possibly enter a depression later down the line OR possibly avoid a depression all together by enacting sound economic policies after reelection.

If you ever seen a wild west ghost town with tumbleweeds blowing. You've seen Biden's vision for the USA.

He’ll shut down the whole country again.

All you need to know about how he’ll handle the economy

SummTingWong 7 points ago +7 / -0

Don’t worry Mr. President, we won’t let that happen!

If the economy was still at the level it was back in early February (Dow was about to hit 30k, businesses both large and small were booming, we were all seeing fatter paychecks and lower withholdings), this election would not be in question at all. The coof sure did have some perfect timing, didn't it? Regardless, if we had a democrat in the White House when it hit, we would have a second Great Depression on our hands right now. The only reason that we've been able to weather this CCP virus storm so well economically is because Trump is in office. We must give this man four more years.

8 years, they ruined the first 4.

I just checked POTUS'S schedule for today...the man is on fire. He just voted, and now flies to NC for a mid-day rally. Then he has a late afternoon rally in OH. Then he's off to WI for a nighttime rally in Waukesha! He gets back to the WH in the wee hours of the morning. If he can fight like this, so can we. Carry on!

My part of the country is open. I support local choice, so sorry I don't have much sympathy for NYC and CA.

Eh? It's a giant asset bubble being driven by low interest rates, which really distorts the housing market. Housing is totally detached from income earning ability. The ability for people to earn sound returns on savings is destroyed by these low interest rates as well, which hurts things like pension funds. Instead everyone is piling into the stock market, and similar to houses the price of the shares is detached from the returns of the companies.

It's super unhealthy and is will cause more wealth inequality.

Trump knows this, during the first presidential run he mentioned how everything was a huge bubble when I believe he shot back at Hillary. It was a refreshing moment. He missed the boat when interest rates were rising, instead of putting pressure on Jpow to lower he should have owned it telling the seniors they will get safe return on their investments for retirement once again, and telling the younger people that the higher interest rates will drive housing prices lower and give them larger tax writeoffs, less property taxes, more chances to refi lower in the future and easier ability to pay off principal on houses.

Yes, used to be low interest meant companies could invest to produce more. But, by and large we as a country don't seem to produce much anymore. So the investments go to things like more hotels and other service economy based ventures. Almost every town has had an explosion of micro breweries and distilleries. Sure, they are cool and they are "producing" something, but is it at a scale and return that would be a rational investment in a normal market?

Am I the only one who now looks forward to the first Friday of every month where the latest unemployment rate is released? Democrats seem to dread the numbers coming out even with their bogus shutdowns.

I work in a factory that makes car parts (Auto Parts Manufacturing) Its the first industry to take a hit when things are bad. The factory opened back up from the COVID lockdown right when the new USMCA went into place. They cant hire fast enough. 4 hour overtime shifts every day, and working 6 days a week. So much work, Shortages everywhere. Need to make new machines, new working stations, big additions to factories, opening up a second site next town over, its insane.

When the Libs insist that Obama/Biden are responsible for the economic turnaround. Just remember this bullshit. The “new normal”. Never let those liars forget. Excuse making at its worst.

My professor said that what Trump did to counteract the COVID recession has 2 possible outcomes for us.

We will either enter a new golden age of economic prosperity or we are going to crash so hard that it will make the Great Depression look like a cakewalk.
