The air you breathe on commercial airliners is highly filtered. Much more so in any building. Its actually very very safe.

So that’s why they allow 23 or so other passengers within six feet of your seat??

Exactly. And that means that masks are nothing more than an inflight virtue signal.

I've written to the airlines I usually travel on, and told them if they want me to start flying again they need to drop the mask mandate, and that I'm not flying with them until they do.

Look its always nicer to travel on your own private jet, I presume.

there is a study out, conducted by US TRANSCOM and United airlines.

turns out the air in an airliner is actually better than that in a operating room.

It gets recycled exchanged and filtered 20 times more than most enclosed rooms.
