I don't understand the appeal of owning so many big expensive homes in different places that you have to pay taxes and upkeep on when you spend most of your time at one location.

Unbridled greed

Just the annual upkeep has to be staggering--I mean, taxes and insurance, a gardener, cook, cleaning staff... The mind boggles.

I remember reading an article on Evander Hollyfield's house right after he declared bankruptcy.

If I'm remembering correctly, it was a 12,000 sq/ft house just outside of Atlanta and the utilities alone cost 5k a month. Now, remember folks, it costs significantly more to heat a house than it does to cool it. If Evander's house had been in Delaware instead of Georgia, how much more would it have cost in utilities? 8k? 10?

I thought I'd never buy certain things. But when you make 10-100 times the money necessary to responsibly make the purchase, and you have reason to believe far more money is in your future, your thinking changes.

I dreamed of owning something like that someday in my life, but alas I was not able to achieve it even thru hard work and determination.

C'mon man. Just go to Ukraine. I heard they pay you $183,000 per month to sit on the board of an energy company. No experience required.

According to our old friends in redacted, this isn't his house because it is only one of his many houses drumptard.

all while making about 200k/yr on average. My household makes about that and we couldn't pay the utilities, up keep and taxes on that place.

What's going on here architecturally with the "bridge" from the slave quarters to the main house?

I think it’s just an awning so the help can avoid rain

He got it from a jailed/bankrupt DuPont heir, I believe, and conveniently just as he entered the US Senate?

Totally on the up and up, though, of course!

Haha I wouldn’t doubt it, somewhere in his basement.

Is that 5 car garage or a horse stable?

1
MakeFloridaRed 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s where the underage kids are kept.

Drinkup4 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't see how they are estimating Joe's net worth at $6 million. That house has to be worth at least that much.

2
Former_RM2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because his net worth isn't listed in his name. It's mostly in Hunter's name...or his brother's name.

Actually kind of looks like a largish shithole. I guess the location would be the most important factor.

Must have been able to save money while Veep, living at Naval Observatory. (Math is hard).

Look at all of those garages and carports...wtf...not a public servant at all. We should all have a MAGA party in his backyard.

beef-tits 2 points ago +2 / -0

The kid swing set was made in China, along with the funds to buy the house.

HIs pool house is bigger than my actual house.

The claim I read is because of his lucrative book deal. But we all know that book deals are just another way that they launder bribe money.

Eww I wonder if that's the pool joe swam naked in front of the female secret service agent that caused a complaint.

1
ProPatria 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nice pool. It'd be a shame if someone skinnydipped in it in view of a female Secret Service agent...
