EAT SHIT! AT&T - Who paid $49 billion for the DirectTV television name back in 2015, but that was when it had 26-Mil paying subscribers. AT&T now serves fewer than 20-MIL television pay-TV customers including those using non-DirecTV services & it's continuing to lose them and money on both fronts!

I can't imagine the lack of foresight in buying a satellite based television provider. That shit has been on the outs for at least 15 years.
I threw this Post out there because they own CNN too - Who missed it's profit targets by a 100 to !20 Million.... Totally Agree with Ya though..

A lot of the AT&T network was and still is DSL. There's just no way to do television over DSL networks.
Grandpa had AT&T and they were charging him $183 a month for tv, phone and internet slower my smartphone. They were going to up his rates again so he asked me to look for another provider. I couldn't even find another plan with anyone charging that much for basic channels. He ended up with more channels, internet over 50 times faster, phone service and his first smart phone for just over $100. Then we had to show him how to use the smartphone, which was... fun.
