It was crashing prior to debates and during, so nope, at least not enough.

13

they fixed it in the last day

it survived the second half of yesterday's Hunter drops, but yeah let's hope they have plenty of bandwidth for the big night.

Don't tell my wife, but the night of Nov 3 2016 here with you Pedes was the best night of my life.

Joeythebomb 14 points ago +14 / -0

I was a nervous wreck on November 3rd! November 8th however is another story, i can’t describe it really, I was just happy. Like happy happy... or jovial? Idk, like a kid on Christmas. Haven’t felt that way about anything ever since

Guthy 7 points ago +7 / -0

I was worried, believing the polls. Then RUSH promised on air trump would win and I took that shit as gospel

12
Nimble_Navigator 12 points ago +12 / -0

I remember. It was fucking glorious. I'm hoping the new server upgrades can withstand the might of our sheer numbers, so capably wielded.

That was Election Eve, no? Around midnight during his final rally?

I'm old so trust me when I say this is unprecedented!

And like Hillary, Biden will be "un-presidented". :-p

I live in a blue state. Today, a local town held a rally for Trump. High energy, there were protesters across the street but they mostly just stood there and scowled a lot. It was nice that there didn't seem to have to be any cops monitoring things.

18
SharonaZamboni 18 points ago +18 / -0

Every Saturday for months, there’s been a Trump “standout” in a town near me. Several other nearby towns have regular weekly standouts, too. In Massachusetts! We’ve gone to the past three events, and the number of Trump supporters driving past and honking, thumbs up, waving, is amazing.

31
MsAnthropic 31 points ago +31 / -0

The spontaneous rallies and Trump Trains breaking out all over the country is incredible - I think there’s never been anything like it. And the polls say Biden is 10 points ahead? As a stupid woman once said: “no freakin way!”

mimefortheblind 31 points ago +31 / -0

I was barely "into" GEOTUS in 2016... my wife was MAGA. This feels like nothing Ive ever seen.

I told someone that it feels like seeing Metallica in the 80s. You knew you were on the brink of something massive.

25
Data_bank 25 points ago +25 / -0

2016 was similar in energy but we were more of an underdog. Also the biggest difference is that Wikileaks really opened the door to satanism / dem pedos / spirit. cooking..you know the really really crazy shit that goes behind politics and enters the metaphysical...good vs evil. And all that stuff came out right about now, a few weeks before the election. Maybe the laptop from hell will take us there too...but 2016 was the introduction so it was more of an eye opening experience that literally changed the way I saw everything

25
ThisTrainHasNoBrakes 25 points ago +25 / -0

It is different. In 2016 we had high energy and we had hope, but most didn't truly believe we could beat the steal. The fake polls got to people and i think most of us were as shocked as dems when he pulled it off.

Now I know Trump is God-sent, and God is in control. I have peace about the election.

I felt like we were going to win.

Couldn't quite put my finger on it, but Trump campaigning in WI was a clue. MSM laughed at him for it.

I was watching the LA Times tracking poll, not so much for the raw numbers, but the trends, especially with black people, were looking good in the runup.

I think the spirit cooking stuff freaked out regular black people, who noped out.

Trump had 70k supporters march in Canada...

Maybe he can be their president after the second term. Their talent pool is really lacking up there.

2016 Trump used the media to get himself elected. He knew they couldn't resist covering him. He got the equivalent of billions worth of airtime. Anytime he gave a speech, the news channels would cut in for about 10 minutes. Trump meant ratings. People saw him, and liked what they saw.

Now it's 2020, and Trump is using the media to destroy themselves. They can't resist carrying water for Biden, arguing with the President, pretending the laptop isn't a valid issue. People are watching them, and they hate what they see.

2016, we had hope that we could get our guy in.

2020, we're starting to believe we can identify the traitors and their useful idiots and get them OUT.

TrumpVictorious 16 points ago +16 / -0

There was great high energy in 2016 as well. We would crowdsource review of the Wikileaks drops as they occurred and the juiciest ones we flagged always ended up on the news that night. The memes like “draft our daughters” were fast and furious. It was a heady time. Election night was insane. Multiple threads filling up with 10,000+ comments. So fun.

15
magnokor 15 points ago +15 / -0

It is the same, but different.

Side of Beef and wikileaks, Creepy Joe and the laptop.

A Czech fellow filming the Side of Beef being chucked into a van, a computer repairman handing to the FBI a criminal's computer and then to others as the FBI are an insurance policy.

President Trump with High-Energy. Clinton, Biden, sleeping and hiding, being kept awake by medicines and doctors.

Media saying Hillary is 96% chance to win, media saying Biden is leading in nearly every state.

Corrupt moderators at the debates.

Something different, obviously, the women who were louder for ill Hillary.

The boat and automobile spontaneous Trump rallies this time, different, great to see.

Silicon Valley, much more angry this time, and they were rigging for Side of Beef in 2016.

At least people can remember the Democrats' VP candidate this time, partly because she is their real candidate.

Hillary had more diversity in her rigging and funding, like Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as China and Kazakhstan.

2016 and 2020, all lots of fun, with Pepe, and Trump, and everyone here.

isitpedanticenough 11 points ago +11 / -0

It was so fun. I joined T_D when they were at around 75k subscribers, and rode it out all the way through the end. Election Night 2016 was the second best night of my life after the birth of my child.

2016 had a fun party energy to it. 2020 its still there but mixed with a sense of dread because we know the stakes are much higher this time. This election isnt just for America but the whole world

12
pharmacyman848 12 points ago +12 / -0

Gonna have to be too big to rig. Dems entire strategy is cheating, they have no platform and an awful candidate they hide. It’s Trump vs fraud, there is nothing else at this point .

I live in a very very blue state. In 2016 there was not a single pro-Trump item in public, brining it up at work was a great way to ruin your reputation. Now, I see multiple parades go through the city for Trump. I saw a pro Trump crowd 5x the size of Antifa black garb people today just driving through the suburbs, protesting on either side of a intersection. Trump consistently grew his support over the last 4 years, and now Trumpers are refusing to be suppressed.

10
2020REBOUND 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yes and especially at the campaign. Perfectly organized with the GOP!

We have lawyers everywhere. Amazing volunteer app.
Everyone is working together for one goal. In 16 it was a lot of Trump vs. GOP on all levels. Distrust.

The big difference in numbers is that all the primary losers, the Cruzbots etc. are now on board. I think we will have millions more voting Trump.

You don't remember when everyone rallied for Mittens? Me either.

There’s a ton of enthusiasm for Trump in the border cities in South Texas. That region has been hardcore Dem for YEARS. I have never seen this kind of support for any Republican in that region, ever.

Saw a news article, a woman in England bet her entire retirement £680,000 on Hillary. Damn.... They just don't get Americans

8
RedPill78 8 points ago +8 / -0

I’m in a pretty red area. I was my daughter’s music lesson. And I was like, what’s all that noise? Trump parade a mile long honking!

8
Data 8 points ago +8 / -0

I'd argue there's never been as much energy and excitement for a president in our history as a nation. The rallies and parades are unprecedented. We're witnessing something special.

I voted today at a county local elections office In California.

Afterwards on my way home there were cars honking all around me, then a huge train of cars and trucks with American flags, Trump flags and honk for freedom/honk for Trump written all over went by the other direction for blocks.

I’ll admit it. I honked for Trump.

6
FarmerPepe 6 points ago +6 / -0

In my close circle of friends, 2016 was something like 70/30 pro-Trump. The other 30% was third party (Libertarian), and one poor scrub who voted McMuffins and got mercilessly mocked. One guy grudgingly switched from Libertarian to Trump at the last minute. No Hillbeast votes. Today, it's 100% Trump, and not just that, 100% enthusiastically Trump. I don't know a single soul who was Trump 2016 but plans to sit out this year, much less vote Biden. (well, except for a few dead folks)

6
bigmikesballsack 6 points ago +6 / -0

In 2016 at least Hillary had the pussy pass. Biden has nothing. The enthusiasm is a flat zero.

Also, you have to take into account that in 2016 trump hadn’t done anything yet. now that we know trump means what he says, we trust him more than ever. we’ve invested now. ride it till the end. you don’t see that with a regular politician, if you could even call him that.

5

does trump hold rallies even after he wins? I dont remember, I will definitely have to go to one at some point.

Different is an understatement. Half my family voted for Clinton. Now they are on board with Trump. Our local rally were 20 people... now its 500. Now there has been 20+ rallies.. before just 2

Any given election, anything can happen. Unusual and lopsided results are perfectly possible. Consider these 2 examples when a strong republican candidate ran against a weak democrat candidate:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972_United_States_presidential_election

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1984_United_States_presidential_election

Looks at those electoral maps.

Who is/was the stronger candidate: Nixon, Reagan, or Trump?

Who is/was the weaker candidate: McGovern, Mondale, or Biden?
