Starting a thread for people to share ideas on getting around being censored on Facebook and Twitter. I do not have FB and twitter accounts, but having read other peoples post I had an idea that might work.

Would it work to use a URL shortener to change the link address to be something different that then redirects to the censored URLS. I do not use FB or Twitter, interested to have someone try and report back.

For instance when I use the URL shortner (shorrturl.at) on "https://news.google.com/topstories?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US:en" it is now "shorturl.at/twADN" but when clicked it correctly links to the news.google link. Got to spread ways to share.
