That's why I led with "I'm assuming" to acknowledge the fact I was putting words in his mouth. Try and keep up. I legitimately want to hear the thought process there. To know what I'm missing. I'm not attempting to debunk anything.

No. Zionists would have been overrun by the Muslim savages by now without western civilization. It was the blood of white goyim soldiers that was spilt destroying their enemies in Germany, Iraq and elsewhere. When they do have to spill their own, who do you think builds their weapons of war? Are you this tactically inept?

So this is not a certified curriculum. It’s from a website of teacher made material. Website is teacherpayteacher.com. Not saying there is commie stuff out there but this is not official school district curriculum.

16
thisisatestof2 16 points ago +16 / -0

True, however I wouldn’t doubt if some lefty teachers stole it and use it as an assignment. I don’t know about all teachers, but back When I graduated high school in the early/mid 2000s Most teachers made up their own assignments, quizzes, etc. And rarely, if ever relied on premade material.

The few teachers that relied and some sort of premade material are we sure the least interest in caring about teaching and even responding to questions appropriately.

5
operator1214 5 points ago +5 / -0

No, she didn't steal it. That site is a compendium of worksheets that teachers can pay a subscription into to have access to worksheets -- that other teachers and curriculum organizations -- have submitted. Some are made by teachers themselves; some are submitted by organizations. There is a problem with relying too heavily on premade material (although I've used other teachers' material that isn't copyrighted myself -- if anything for ideas for teaching an assignment; just like I had to submit my own work to compendiums myself -- yes, had to: when I worked for a private education company that was part of the contract -- any material I made was owned by them). A lot of the younger teachers are told about this -- you don't have to make your own material, just check the copyright laws to make sure you aren't breaking those -- so they don't even look into what they are printing out...if it's on the website, then it must be ok (kinda like how people take in their news).

6
ShadowInv 6 points ago +6 / -0

So what you are saying is it's possible for us to make additional training materials and publish it on there to combat those training materials. About how teaching kids to be critical of the media, using examples like George Floyd's 2019 prior arrest video where he munches more pills in 10 seconds than pacman on level 255 when the police roll up.

Guys, I am BEGGING you to understand: there is no such thing as OFFICIAL curriculum. There is a process for selecting textbooks, but there is no limit as to what ADDITIONAL RESOURCES a teacher can bring into the classroom; almost every contract I've ever seen has a clause that allows a teacher methodological freedom.

Understand this: the public education system is a JOBS program for adults; both for the adults it keeps employed directly and for the 14-18 year olds it keeps OUT of the workforce.

There is no way one principal (who is usually the ONLY immediately dismissable employee at a school) can supervise what is going on in 20+ classrooms all day long.

Administration lets teachers do what they want as long as it "looks" okay because firing any teacher with tenure is such a HUGE pain in the ass it's not worth it.

Think about it this way: there are tens of thousands of hungry adults who'd like to be teachers. There are also tens of thousands of teachers that are mediocre at best that could be replaced by said lower-paid, hungrier teachers. Yet it never happens.

I can almost guarantee your kid has had a shit teacher, and yet that shit teacher is allowed to diminish the educations of 30+ kids a year, every year, because administration is willing to sacrifice your kids to keep their job. (200 if you're at a high school).

I keep saying it, but I'm going to say it again: pull your kids out of public school. Homeschool.

The only way this changes is if the school districts bleed cash.

School choice is the second best option, but that is going to be a longer fight and may not save YOUR kids now.

1
LIBERTYPEWPEW 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree mostly. A deeply entrenched, tenured teacher can do almost anything to curriculum. Non tenured will tote the line of normalcy, if they are smart.

1
educatedandfree 1 point ago +1 / -0

It only takes two years to get tenure. That's roughly 360 days that you have to be on good behavior.

Not all teachers are lunatics, but because I'd tenure protections and the absolute shambolic nature if the system, those who are get cover and those who would toe the line otherwise feel comfortable pushing their views on a captive audience: our children.

16
SevenDirtyWords 16 points ago +16 / -0

Going to the school board might be more effective than trying to talk to a teacher who is almost certainly a TDS-infected SJW.

6
COnDEMnED 6 points ago +6 / -0

I’d do both. The teacher lib needs to hear about him/herself. Getting in the principals face isn’t a bad option either. School board however that needs to happen too.

3
deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0
1
LiberTerrarium 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is, but even in schools you have to follow the chain of command.

If you do not tell the teacher first, admin has an avenue to ignore it and delay by asking parents to talk directly to the teacher first and attempting to resolve it there.

From personal experience, always follow the chain of command for anything but physical abuse and collect a paper trail with handwritten notes in a composition notebook. A number of parents tried to appeal to my "management" over their kid's grade and always find "management" unsympathetic to antagonistic.

7
EtTuRINO 7 points ago +7 / -0

Problem is people are just stupid. I know quite a few people who know TERRIBLE teachers that they even personally had and I've always pointed out how big unions suck because they stop these terrible people from getting fired... they ignore it completely.

I've known teachers to be drunk and high at school, get caught, and they still just went on temporary leave at most.

1 teacher dated a student (and later on they got married). Their dating was known at the time, the teacher was "suspended" for awhile (he was just moved to the nearest other school, then moved back when the student's grade graduated).

I've known STEM teachers who couldn't speak English and their class averages were close to 50, one of them actually getting a class average below that. Now yes, the classes should be doing better even without understanding the teachers (textbooks are actually better than teachers for learning) - but teachers who can't string a full sentence in English should not be teaching science and math courses in a fucking English speaking nation!

A lot of people's fall back plan for a career is teaching.

That being said, some people do it for very different reasons. Some want the lenient hours. Some like (whether they realize or not) the low expectations. Some like the authority. Some like people, in particular kids (and I'm not talking about in the Epstein/Biden way).

Where I live teachers after 10 years on the job make decent money and even from the beginning have about 3 months off in total. And honestly, 3 months off alone is enough to get people to forego extra cash and I get why. Who cares if you have more money if you struggle to find time to spend it on vacation, relaxation, family, etc.

3
operator1214 3 points ago +3 / -0

Some of us just found out that they liked teaching their subject. My job prospects were: 1. working at my uncle's law firm and passing the bar (uh, no; I loved my uncle; he was a great lawyer...but I didn't want to work for him); 2. working at an alphabet agency (again, no; other relatives have worked for those..and, no); 3. keep working at the newspaper (oh, hell no); 4. teaching -- and I really liked it because I got to delve into and share the intellectual things I love the most -- grammar/language formation and literature/writing.
Because I've worked both public and private schools and the college, I never got summers off; and while the pay was decent, because I was always adjunct faculty it was never great...but, I got to do what I like to do and had access to resources about the intellectual topic I loved the most, so it was worth it for me. We all have our own motivations in life that we're willing to trade off other things to get. Just allow me to study the origins and evolution of Indo-European languages, and I'm a happy camper.

2
truth_about_trees 2 points ago +2 / -0

This comment really spoke to me. I have a linguistics degree (and similar passions as yourself) but a hesitation of teaching because of the political atmosphere. I had wanted to keep going in university and eventually get a doctorate but since becoming more conservative I find i want to stick around my home, have a family, and be a part of my community and teaching seems to be an ideal choice for that (just as long as we can maintain our hobbies). But it is hard to stomach these changes to official school policy as if they're fact that we have all agrees upon. And i know where i live teachers can lose their jobs for wrongthink.

Schools are a state's responsibility.

Kind of the reason why Obama implemented Common Core, so each state's education would essentially be under federal influence and the Dems need only capture control of 1 federal gov't as opposed to 50 state governments. They failed in getting all 50 but enough states now are beholden to federal assistance that they pretty much don't have the final say on educational matters.

2
CaliChica 2 points ago +2 / -0

Aside from Obama influencing Pearson Publishing with a $350 million contract to create the Common Core curriculum to then secure his own book deal with them.

usta call it the stupid. Now everyone got one in their pocket.

3
EtTuRINO 3 points ago +3 / -0

People have lives and the issue lies in the fact that the federal government has so much power and influence that we all care about that but then forget about politics when it comes to municipalities.

Most people I know are against what their cities do, but they don't vote against it and only just complain. Like I get it, they shouldn't be doing such outrageously stupid shit but if you just let people do dumb stuff they'll keep doing it.

Remember that sports and sitcoms were invented to keep you ignorant, sedate and away from the political process!

This is actually a good point. When reading a dystopian novel for school my teacher had us decide on the top things we thought was most important for a dictator to take over to gain/maintain control. They pointed out the fact that no one pointed out sports, yet every dictator uses sports events, music concerts, etc. to do this very thing.

If you wrote down the full truthful answer would you get an A+?

Who is George Floyd?

A violent felon who had been convicted of home invasion, kidnapping, assault on a pregnant woman, and robbery.

I the last day of his life he was high as hell and passing counterfeit $20 at a store and had the police called on him. He was so high he sat out front in his car until the police arrived.

When approached he was jittery and jumping around and acting crazy all in an attempt to disguise himself swallowing 12 grams of fentynal like he has done in another recent arrest.

He was removed from his car and complained that he could not breath, he was going into cardiac arrest from the drugs. He eventually was placed in a patrol car and begged to be let out and placed on the ground to be able to breath. He was and was held there for 10 minutes awaiting an ambulance. One of the officers used a knee on the neck which was taught in training as a safe hold.

The coroner concluded it was a drug overdose and no signs of strangulation or neck wounds.

The local DA hid that evidence and hid video evidence of the arrest for over a month showing the full extent of the arrest.

Meanwhile a random cellphone video from a bad angle was released and the MSM decided it was murder by 4 police.

Then the idiots along with antifa and BLM burned down the city.

The end

Exactly. Why would a conservative let their kids be taught by commies (public school teachers)?

4
DividesByZero 4 points ago +5 / -1

You can't protect them forever. At some point, you have to put them out in to the world where there will be bad information. It's up to the parents to have these conversations with kids - talk about the things they learned at school. Let the teachers teach them math and literacy and hard science.

When it comes to stuff like this, make sure kids know, "Hey, there are people who say this or think this way. Here's how it happened and why someone might want to lie about it."

Sheltering them with home schooling from any kind of oppositional view point will really fuck them up when it's time to go out in to the world.

0
ItsBigLeagueNotBigly 0 points ago +1 / -1

Sounds like an excuse for being a lazy parent. What school a child goes to is one of the most important things in their life. It has nothing to do with sheltering them. Small children SHOULD be sheltered. They can grow up, and see this truly shitty world as they become teens/young adults.

I grew up around horrible public schools, and neighborhoods but was fortunate that my parents sent me to excellent private schools.

The difference is night, and day. In comparison, the people I know who went to public schools are severely lacking in morals, and general success in life itself.

0
DividesByZero 0 points ago +1 / -1

My siblings and I were all educated in public schools. All three of us are doing well for ourselves and our families. I attribute our successes to the work ethic and the values instilled in us by our father - a truly incredible human being.

There's nothing lazy about it. My wife homeschooled our son for two years after our daughter died of cancer - he had a very difficult time being there after his sister passed. We put him back in this year to get social interaction. The education that happens on the playground among his peers is just as valuable as what he's learning in the classroom, but the education of our children shouldn't stop after school. We as parents have to continue it. We have to talk about current events, we have to have the hard conversations, and we have to teach them most importantly how to think critically.

0
ItsBigLeagueNotBigly 0 points ago +1 / -1

I personally prefer private Catholic schools because Christian values are very important to my family, and those schools teach great discipline to children. Some public schools are good, but the vast majority are piss poor. I'd personally homeschool my kids before ever sending them to a public school.

Private schools are always going to be better than free public schools. I believe in going the extra mile for my children.

Sadly, OP is full of shit. This is a picture from a news article about Wisconsin. Why OP felt the need to make up shit when there is already so much real stuff out there....seems like a liberal shill move to me.

Uninvolved parents are the reason the left can indoctrinate kids. Get the teacher on the phone. That doest work, get the principal. That doesn't work go to the school board. That doesn't work find like minded parents and keep going to meetings. These people have NO push back when creating this shit. I go to school board meetings and I don't even have kids yet!

My sister said she’s sending my nephew to private school once he starts school. She’s not going to raise a commie.

My sister is a delusional liberal and so is my brother in law. My nephew is going to start school in a couple years and I feel scared for him. She's even having another kid in a few months I hope it wakes her up. I know I won't raise my kid under this kind of torture.

You should complain.

Not only is this the teacher's OPINION (or an opinion that the teacher agrees with) rather than academic knowledge that is indisputable and important to learn, but the part of the text that is supposed to be factual, is actually full of lies and misrepresentations.

This garbage assignment doesn't even mention that:

  • Floyd was a CRIMINAL who went to prison 9 times (it just says he was a "truck driver and a security guard" with a 6 y.o. daughter),
  • Floyd was a drug addict,
  • the police was called because Floyd had just committed another crime,
  • the cop was following regular police procedure (not "forcing" his knee on Floyd's neck) because Floyd was high on drugs, agitated, and fighting with the police,
  • the cop might have been negligent for not making sure that Floyd needed immediate medical attention or CPR, but the cop did NOT "kill" Floyd, since the autopsy says he did NOT die of asphyxiation, he had no injuries on or in his neck, and he actually died of a drug overdose because he had high amounts of several illegal drugs in his system.

Of course, there is also the "systemic racism" LIE, which the garbage assignment defines just as people being "treated unfairly because of their race, religion, or ethnicity." Obviously, this is NOT what SYSTEMIC racism is, and religion and ethnicity are NOT "races."

On top of all that, it talks about the violence that is going on in the streets as just "protests" to "change something that is not right," (no mention of violence, rioting, looting, arson, destruction, etc.), and it also misleadingly only says that BLM is "trying to end systemic racism," which is NOT true because they are MARXISTS working on a COMMUNIST REVOLUTION, and many of them are racist black supremacists who want white genocide or want full submission from whites (and they already have that from the "woke" white useful idiots."

THE BRAINWASHING OF OUR KIDS IS REAL. That's why we are in the situation that we are in.

Teaching neo-racism is a direct legal violation of Civil Rights laws in publicly funded schools. Kick it up to the board of education and cite the specific law(s) that are being broken and that you're considering legal action.

Put the fear of lawyers into them. They'll jump.

Stop sending your kids to public schools! Fork out some money for a good Catholic/Private school, or just Homeschool them for fucks sake!

That is political indoctrination

chameleoncircuit 5 points ago +5 / -0

This right here is the shit that makes my stomach drop. If you teach someone that something is true at an early age, and keep teaching them that thing throughout their life, they're just gonna believe it unquestioningly.

We already see kids in high school looking at you like you're stupid if you don't believe white privilege is real. They don't realize how fresh that concept really is.

But it makes sense. First time I ever heard the term was in 2012 when I, myself, was entering high school. Kids who are at that level now were in elementary school when the idea would've gotten popularized. So now they've probably grown up constantly acknowledging other people's skin colors, where my generation may have been the last to never really think twice about the color of the kid sitting next to us.

Gets more sickening the more you think about it.

We should be saying, "George Floyd OD'd on Fentanyl" like we say, "Epstein didn't kill himself"

3
orange_dit 3 points ago +3 / -0

George Floyd committed suicide, Epstein didn't.

Sounds more catchy that way.

Bring McCarthy back

substantialmajestic 4 points ago +4 / -0

"To stop systemic racism we need to listen to people that are different."

  1. Skin color does mean someone is DIFFERENT than you in any meaningful way
  2. Listening to an individual does not affect a SYSTEM or Structure

Michigan pede chiming in on the subject. Last week I received an "assignment" for next Friday. (We home school 3 kids) to have boys dress as girls and vice versa. Yeah fuck you. I am having them dress up as respected kids (themselves) I will gladly have my kids take a fail and sue the living shit out of the district and bring more awareness to this bs.

1
Wishiwastrumpswife 1 point ago +1 / -0

What District? Go to the school board, fight back!!

1
john1234 1 point ago +1 / -0

"Last week I received an "assignment" for next Friday. (We home school 3 kids) to have boys dress as girls and vice versa"

This means that the school thinks there is some special way "boys" and "girls" usually dress.

Ask them about it, complain about their sexist minds to the school board.

Seeing this stuff takes me back to second grade where I "learned" about various civil rights leaders. Everyone was painted in gold and held up as a saint. We were lied to so much....

Exactly. Why would a conservative let their kids be taught by commies (public school teachers)?

3

Burlington School Board President Roseanne Hahn said the board and administration do not believe the teacher should lose her job, and that they will address it internally.

Wtf. They are just going to sweep it under the rug. Email that school, she needs lose her fucking teaching creds. Stop playing nice and use the same cancel culture shit liberals use against conservatives.

This is the kind of thing that makes me glad I don't have kids. I can't imagine the feeling of knowing my child is forced to spend every weekday being indoctrinated by this garbage.

The communism that has plagued our society (specifically teachers unions and higher education) is one of the top 3 problems our country faces right now, and I pray that after Trump gets elected we can take steps to rid ourselves from this.

It would be funny if someone here fixed this and made a true version of George Floyd, etc.

Parents need to take this all the way to the top - complain to the principal, to the school district, hire lawyers, raise as much stink as you can. Otherwise they get away with it.
