This right here is the shit that makes my stomach drop. If you teach someone that something is true at an early age, and keep teaching them that thing throughout their life, they're just gonna believe it unquestioningly.
We already see kids in high school looking at you like you're stupid if you don't believe white privilege is real. They don't realize how fresh that concept really is.
But it makes sense. First time I ever heard the term was in 2012 when I, myself, was entering high school. Kids who are at that level now were in elementary school when the idea would've gotten popularized. So now they've probably grown up constantly acknowledging other people's skin colors, where my generation may have been the last to never really think twice about the color of the kid sitting next to us.
