I fear the worst of this is yet to come. Source: Have been following Q for a good while and it's all coming to light now. There is more that makes Hunter's current drops look like an ordinary frat party.
In all seriousness, we should all take a break from this from time to time. Spend time with family. Talk to frens. Watch a wholesome movie, read a wholesome/inspiring book. Especially, Go outside and remember that nature abides.
We really do have to pace ourselves through all of this. Nine days to Election Day - and then the real fun starts.
i'm in the middle of making my annual jams, jellies and other assorted canned goodies. yesterday was the start of apple butter production and i was making deals with myself: ok, core these, then you can go check the win. peel these, then you can go refresh rising. ok, chop this and check for news updates. and of course, there were all the other normal chores. at least i feel informed and i'm about to have apple butter.
Very good. This is how we will all keep our sanity over the days and weeks to come. It's a very very long marathon, not a sprint! And all of what you're making sounds delicious!
gardening/canning is My Thing, My Church. when i'm on my knees pulling weeds in the garden, i figure the Lord has me where He wants me. and every southerner knows "food is love." i'm canning lots of love. ;-)
