This is pretty huge. There are many Federal employees who currently can't be fired who were appointed by Obama. Hopefully this order will make it easier to drain the swamp. Go here and listen to this explanation of the Executive order:

It sets up a foundation for executive branch employees to be categorized, of which only those in Schedule C can be "untouchable." It also doesn't expressly limit other categories which is an oversight.
