Some of their smarter liberal friends say, "The party left me." Now they look around at the company they're keeping and find themselves surrounded by people who want to "burn down" everything they've built their entire lives.
This is why the Democrats push this pseudo religious adherence to "Blue" instead of policy or action. But at some point these old liberals look around and have to ponder what exactly it is they're fighting for.
