lol yes, everyone who shills for Apple being the most secure needs to relearn how security works

an apple product in theory has the best security setup, yes

an apple product in the wild has a couple very big problems...

1.)less hardware models and software versions awards efforts to crack into apple a bigger potential reward

2.)their embracing of cloud storage/data recovery as a marketable commodity means that iCloud storage might be the greatest trove of blackmail material on the planet

buy cheap off brand shit and switch phones every year, learn to love external physical storage, and good luck

It's laughable to me the naivete of apple users who flippantly think they are more secure and less surveiled than Google users. If you really give half of a fuck about your privacy you should look into degoogled phones. Best solution until Linux phones mature.

I remember my sister telling me snapshot is secure because it tells you if someone downloads your picture.

I told her to show me a snapchat and i would copy it easily. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of her phone.

People who are non technical dont think abiut the details amd just believe what they are told about the cloud.

I used snapchat before I unplugged from social media and there were third party apps that could open and save messages without notifying the sender. It might be patched by now but I doubt it.
