Honestly I was part of a Trump Car Parade in South Jersey yesterday - another supposedly deep blue area - and not only was I surprised by the insane amount of people that showed up for the parade, but we got a crazy amount of supportive car honks on our drive as well as people waiting along the road with signs and waves for us. There are so many more Trump supporters than any of us realizes in places you'd never think.
Every metric besides the polls suggests a Trump victory. Im supposed to believe Biden is winning Texas when republicans are up 12 points in early voting with (so far) 69% of 2016 ballots cast? This would mean a ton of republicans going for Biden which also makes no sense because Trump's in party approval is very high. The idea that Montana is close makes even less sense. Also if Texas is close why are neither of them going there?
If Biden steals the election, it wouldn't be by 10 points. Nate Silver's model is fundamentally flawed (basically averages individual states and then redistributes them across the nation), and so are polls, which have drifted out of whack in recent years. In 2008, despite being a popular candidate with the general public, despite the media worshipping him, and despite the rather weak RINO candidate he was facing, Obama only had single-digit leads in polls.
