=) we built for my Dad for Xmas surprise, built on his old Ranch gun from the ground up.1st full gun we DIY Cerakoted as well, Heavy Barrel shoots 3/4 MOA with Sub Hunting Hand Loads .He wanted a but has no idea we rescoped it & full Customized. (=

=) We are Ranchers & Dad had not used his old Mini 14 for a couple of years as it had a cracked stock from a horse rolling on it . Dad had used the 300BLK AR build l did & liked how quiet it was with that same suppressor for use in a Deer Stand as that is the way he prefers to hunt now .

I am lucky to have a Vietnam War Veteran Uncle, (who was a Armourer with the Army Marksmanship Unit) who has a fully equipped work shop,who is renowned for his accurising work on the Rem 700 action & AR's ,so we have Custom built our own rifles for decades.My Uncle is toying with the idea of starting to Cerakote guns as well so we used this one to experiment on as the first full gun coating.

Once we stripped the Mini 14 down we decided to just rebuild it from the ground up ,the rifle had one of those old 1970's Weaver K4-Wide Angle Rifle Scopes that looked like you were looking through a TV screen & this one had enough mold inside the tube it looked like a Aquarium .He took a lot of ribbing over that old combo over the years from his hunting buddies but would never part with them ,so my uncle is going to make the old scope mounted onto a paper weight so he can have it sitting on his desk & BS to us all on the shots he made with it over the decades.

I had the Minox Zv 3 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope sitting unused after getting it cheap on a run out ,they are a good little scope .I had a client who used one on a hunt & had dropped his in the water when getting out of a canoe a couple of years beforehand & it had never missed a beat even though it took them 3 hours to retrieve it .So if you see one on run out & are after a honest cheap scope grab one . (=

=) That is a over barrel Archangel l had on my AR l built,the guy who made them died unfortunately, he also made the muzzle break for my 7mm Short Action Ultra Magnum that has it feeling like shooting a 243 .They are the best suppressors l have run & l do more shooting than most. l own 4 of them,I am going over barrel for all my new suppressors for my hunting rifles the difference is miles apart as far as function & durability in the field. (=

I do a bit of guiding to supplement the income off our Ranch,so have been flat out with everyone wanting to get their bucket list hunt in after the China Flu SNAFU & have the books filled for a couple of years at least.

I have always been hopeless & love hunting that much l even do it on my off time as much as l can.Had just seen the last set of clients off after a successful hunt & with the weather coming in knew a few likely spots that produce when the first real snow hits.Wife has been keen to get her first Elk hunt for the year in & missed the horses ,so in between hunts rather than me flying home , got a buddy to fly her in & we did a 3 day horse back hunt living off the land.

She is great & complains less than most male clients ,the only trouble she gave was keeping on cracking mum jokes about how much Hunter would love it surrounded by white stuff & riding anything that moved & how old man crazy Joe Biden would approve of our cabin with no power & only horses to get around on,his ideal vision for America .

In the end after a hard hunt in the conditions l got her onto a couple of nice bulls & she pulled off a good stalk & shoot using the custom 7 SAUM ( 7mm Short Action Ultra Magnum ) Rem Model 7 l built her.

The 7SAUM ( 7mm Short Action Ultra Magnum ) is the bottom rifle & is shown set up with cheek piece l use for when my wife/small client uses it, as she has not got a fat head like me.I have always had a soft spot for the model 7 just about the perfect weight/balance for a hard carry hunting rifle IMO & l have used them to hunt all around the world. The 7mm Short Action Ultra Magnum is a great hunting round as well.
