I turned 55 in September. It was mild at first, just fever at home. Then it morphed into my lungs and made it difficult to breathe whenever I would get up and move around. I thought I was about over it until the shortness of breath got me. They said I have “Hyper-inflammation” in my lungs due to the virus.
No lasting damage and I will recover, but I’m probably going to be in the hospital for another week or more.
There was a doctor in CA that was finding good results by using the drugs given to transplant recipients, when the covid patient's immune system was in overdrive
Sounds like me, man. I made a full recovery, and I pray you will as well.
(Edit: I am also a little overweight. Lost 15 pounds in hospital and am trying my damndest to keep it off. I spent 3 days being ill at home, then one night in the ER when I couldn't breathe, and 11 days in the hospital. Only one day in ICU, though, and I managed to avoid the respirator.)
I’m so glad to hear that. I first got a fever on 10/2. Was fighting it off pretty good, but on the 13th, I started coughing a little. Two days later I called 911 because I couldn’t catch my breath if I stood up.
They gave me an experimental trial med, but I honestly believe I got the placebo, because the meds didn’t have the expected results, and then they told me my time in the hospital would be much longer. I’m probably not getting out of here until 11/1 at the very earliest.
You should contact your congressman and tell him you are being held hostage in the hospital until after election day. If dems can chaperone illegals across the border than I think your representative can get your vote to count.
Get better Pede! I hope you are getting all that great care GEOTUS got! Unfortunately I have a hunch that the medical system has a way of intentionally making recovery more difficult for us regular folk. Glad you're on the mend!
Thank you so much Fren!
Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery, friend.
Thank you, fellow pede!
How old are you, and how bad did you get it?

Dang. Glad to hear you’re on the mend. Hope the nurses have taken time away from dancing on tiktok to take care of you.
Lol yes I think so. I’m in Texas, so they weren’t quite as idiotic as other places.
Hang in there Frisco pede.
Thank you Fren.

My only other health issue is a tiny bit of high blood pressure, and I’m a little overweight. No diabetes or other diseases.

Glad to hear you are feeling better!
Prayers, God Bless.
Thank you, Fren.
Glad to hear you're recovering. Keep reading and stay sane!
(Have you voted!)
Sadly, I was Covid+ when early voting started here in Texas, and while I was very sick, the deadline passed for me to get my absentee ballot in time.
This will be the first time I’ve missed a Presidential election since the first time I voted for Reagan in 1984.
My precinct and county are very historically Red, but it would have been nice to cancel out some BlueTard’s vote.

Prayers sent🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you.

Thoughts. Prayers. Dragon energy.
Good luck! This and another app called Little Alchemy got me through my surgery recuperation.
Take your vitamin D!
Take care Pede.
Eat well even if you don't feel like it, need strength.
Thank you Fren. I wasn’t very hungry when I got here, but I’m eating well now. They actually have decent food here.
Just keep a lil hot sauce in your purse you'll be fine.
That made me laugh,
“I ain’t in no ways tired!”
Yes...I can see the tollway from my room.
<3 HUGs We love you and we're praying for you! Get well and enjoy Making America Great Again!!
Thank you Fren!
