I turned 55 in September. It was mild at first, just fever at home. Then it morphed into my lungs and made it difficult to breathe whenever I would get up and move around. I thought I was about over it until the shortness of breath got me. They said I have “Hyper-inflammation” in my lungs due to the virus.
No lasting damage and I will recover, but I’m probably going to be in the hospital for another week or more.
There was a doctor in CA that was finding good results by using the drugs given to transplant recipients, when the covid patient's immune system was in overdrive
Sounds like me, man. I made a full recovery, and I pray you will as well.
(Edit: I am also a little overweight. Lost 15 pounds in hospital and am trying my damndest to keep it off. I spent 3 days being ill at home, then one night in the ER when I couldn't breathe, and 11 days in the hospital. Only one day in ICU, though, and I managed to avoid the respirator.)
How old are you, and how bad did you get it?

Dang. Glad to hear you’re on the mend. Hope the nurses have taken time away from dancing on tiktok to take care of you.
Lol yes I think so. I’m in Texas, so they weren’t quite as idiotic as other places.
Hang in there Frisco pede.

My only other health issue is a tiny bit of high blood pressure, and I’m a little overweight. No diabetes or other diseases.
