Ian is a massive idiot who constantly goes off topic into absolutely ridiculous conspiracy nonsense. He has no clue what he's talking about half the time. It's insane. Bring back Adam! They're both better together than they are apart.

I don't think Ian is an idiot. He seems reasonably intelligent or at the absolute very least average. He does seem to derail the show frequently enough it's noticeable imo. I could be totally off but on occasions he comes off as quite farther left than most of the others on the show including guests.

Yeah, Ian can be dumb at times. Wish I could remember some specifics, but there were a few times he basically asked Tim or his guest to explain a basic topic or principle. Not even a political one, just a normal thing that literally everyone knows.

I like Ian, he lets Tim address normie points and misconceptions.

Well there was that one time that Ian tried to argue Hitler would have not been so evil if you could have just hugged it out with him.

I don't understand that level of stupidity...

The European leaders also literally tried that strategy, it was the reason for world war 2 lol

First episode i heard with him he was trying to tie in some Quantum mechanics shit into a discussion about censorship lol

Then whenever hypotheticals come up, he almost always ends up with the wrong image and tim has to correct him constantly

Most recently this interview with a Facebook whistleblower, idk how but somehow he tried to bring up "THE source code" and it's like the third time I've heard him start on "THE source code" and fortunately tim steers onto a better more relevant topic.

Another example is (I believe the same episode as the quantum argument they had) when he tried saying some energy frequency in space might be god.

He's clearly interested in the more psychadelic aspect of conspiracy theory. I bet he might have a decent interview in him if he went on rogan, and they don't take it too seriously. But as much as i love dropping acid and smoking DMT, TIM POOL'S CHANNEL IS NOT THE ONE FOR THAT TOPIC!

I think he needs to learn THE(imo) great stoner lesson: YES, EVERYONE LOVES TO SMOKE WEED! NOW FIND A NEW TOPIC TO TALK ABOUT!!!!!

If you expect me to find a link to back any of these up, haha. Not gonna happen, but if you're sctually familiar with his input, you already know of at least 3 other instances like the ones i just listed(one of them was literally in his most recent podcast)

I can't think of any specific ones off the top of my head, but whenever he goes off on a crazy tangent it makes me cringe like crazy.

Same here. Sometimes he speaks up, and I’m like,”ok....how does this add to the conversation?” I don’t care for him.

Lydia, on the other hand, is pretty cool.

He had a long argument with everyone else about attitude creating reality. Real hippy bs. Physics studies were quoted by both sides but Tim tore Ian up on them showing how the pop sci interpretation of them was Wrong.

Ian just now: We get shower thoughts because there's information contained in water, so when it's running over you it makes you think more.

Not even joking.

I think Adam's spinoff shown is doing well. Cant be in Tims shadow forever!

Next they will need to do a 'collab' podcast.
