I think Ian desperately wants to look smart and informed, and Tim can't charitably guide him back to reality when he strikes out. Tim goes for the throat and has to beat him down. Ends up being a lot of squabbling with not much gained.
Spot on analysis. I haven’t watched much of the irl podcast since adam left, but i get the feeling that there’s some antipathy brewing between tim and ian.
Yeah, Ian used to be on Adam's show before he moved over to Tim's and Adam would do a much better job of dealing with Ian's ignorance and correcting him.
