Buying ammo and food is all good but now is the EXACT time to start a body (physical) prep if you’re concerned for what happens in Nov.

If you find yourself in a physical encounter due to riots, break in, or just caught in the open there are a few things you can start working on now, with the few weeks leading up to election with minimal effort.

With time tight, I would focus on improving upper body and core strength and basic cardio.

Pick 3 days per week, with off days between, for pushups, sit ups an pull ups. time convenient to you. Set your final goal within the next 3 weeks for AT LEAST 50 push-ups in a single rep, 50 sit-ups in 2 minutes and 10 pull ups. Do 1.5 mile run in 10-12 minutes. On “off” days 2 times a week. Rest and relax otherwise.

This is a simplified standard based on the USMC physical fitness test (PFT) that I remember but roughly reduced by half. This will still generate a respectable level of strength and stamina for basic personal defense. Possibly necessary for what may come from radical elements after the election. Not too time intensive for those of us with jobs/family and not needing equipment other than gravity and a pull up bar (improvised pole or tree).

At the very least, you will feel better, stronger and more confident In a very short time. But at best you exceed these goals and are more than ready for whatever comes your way.
