Given the politics of Maine this is possible. She can win over some undecideds who were bothered by the confirmation knowing that the typical GOP voters will still vote for her given what alternatives the Dems propose. In states that lean left it's better to have a RINO in office who can give you some votes than a perfect candidate who will never get elected in those states. It sucks but those are the choices. However, some of our Red State RINOs need to go.
