Wrong. Crack cocaine is a potent and addictive stimulant derived from powder cocaine. One of the short-term and more severe effects of crack cocaine abuse is the potential for overdose. It is possible for an overdose to happen the first time someone takes crack cocaine and unexpectedly during future use.
