You live with your parents still? If you guys are in a super blue area, and they won’t leave, then at least batten down the hatches, turn the lights off, keep everything locked, and make sure your visible lights are off. Don’t make yourself a target, and read up on self defense laws in your area. You may want to have your phone on hand to record attempted arson or break-ins, as well as proof you were being attacked if it comes to it.

I’m not sure how commie the gun laws are where you live, but you may run into trouble if you borrow a gun and then have to defend yourself, or you might land your friend in trouble. Just an FYI going on your previous comments. Be wise, especially with the crooked DAs running around.

Personally, I am of the opinion that few things are irreplaceable when faced with such situations. People are one of those, perhaps old photos and whatnot. I would say if you are seriously worried about your possessions, make a video catalogue of everything for insurance purposes in case anything needs to be replaced due to fire, etc. if you have proof of purchase for the more important/expensive stuff, you can keep those aside as well (I know it helps with insurance claims). If something is legitimately irreplaceable and you are still worried, perhaps have a friend hold onto a box of stuff for you until the danger passes.

Be safe Pede!
