They've been catching it. The Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has caught several and prosecuted. They are attempting their voter fraud, but Abbot denied the left their "drop boxes" by limiting it to one per county with poll watchers present from both parties.
The drive-in fraud is a lot more limited since there are lot of actual voters in line too and it's always busy. Also straight ticket voting was removed so in Harris county you have to go through like 6 pages of stuff to vote on.
Harris is rushing to El Paso to try and "motivate" hispanics to vote. El Paso and Hildago (huge hispanic populations) are anemic and struggling to make what the Left needs. Dallas and Travis county were hot at first and now they're slowing as well.

In 2018 there was straight ticket voting in Texas. That made fraud ten times easier especially because you go into a nursing home and have the patients check 3 boxes and sign. Now they have to check 89 or more (Harris county has a lot to vote on) so it slows it down. Dims were furious about reps removing it.
Also the Left only focuses on Beto and Cruz. If you look at Ken Paxton's race and the Lt. Guv's they got near double what Cruz got. There were a lot still angry at Cruz for what he did to Trump in 2016 with that "vote with your heart" comment.
It's not about flipping Texas to Biden. They already know it's out of reach. The Left is desperate not to lose ground in Harris County. The races were close enough in 2018 for them to steal some through fraud (although reps won 1 by less than 50 votes and another by 100 so the Harris Fraud machine has its limits).
With Trump at the top of the ticket a lot of the Harris County judge races are likely to flip back to the republicans and destroy the Left's attempt to make Harris County into a fraud machine. Another issue is that next year is redistricting. If the dims get blown out of the Texas legislature they'll have no say in redistricting and the maps will be redrawn in favor of the republicans. This will mean all the work of dims moving refugees and leftist into the lean red districts to steal them will be undone and their Blue Texas dream will be delayed for another few years.
So they're desperate to not get blown out of local seats.
