Then take the fact that the people on the tapes are a CIA asset who has been accused of peddling Iran conspiracies in the past and a disgraced corrupt Congressman, it becomes even less believable.
It's not that I don't want it to be true - I do, and I'm sure the larger narrative is - but we can't just make ourselves look like fools by jumping on a sketchy story just because we want it to be so.
Or any proof at all.
