If it's unrealistic to expect everybody to properly use PPE 24/7, and the consequences of improper use are worse than what you're trying to protect against (a fucking flu) then mandating PPE usage is a huge fail.
Washing them doesn't stop you re-breathing carbon dioxide. Many risks associated with that.
