Fun fact: David Frum debated Steve Bannon up here in Toronto a couple of years ago. In an extremely liberal city and campus, Bannon actually ended up winning the debate, based on their real-time polling of the entire in-house audience.
Polled at the beginning, 82% of the audience said they were opposed to Bannon. By the end, 65% said he won the debate.
David Frum was DUMBSTRUCK. He couldn’t believe it, and it was hilarious. He was so smug that entire evening too, I figured he would learn—guess not!
