I'm from MT and yes, it is. Democrats can win here if they support the 2A. None of them do, but they pretend to and that's why they get elected.

Tester was reelected in 2018 and the circumstances were pretty fucky if you ask me. They stopped counting for the night and resumed the next day. Lo and behold, Tester picked up a few thousand more votes and narrowly won.

Tester has also been a strong supporter of veterans. I personally don't believe that's what is in his heart. I think he's just playing the hand that will keep him in office.
