Do we even want him to step down at this point? Enthusiasm has gotta be awfully low for this guy right now among Dem voters... I bet a lot of them stay home as a protest vote.

I think a lot of these people were never ever voting Trump or Republican, so any amount of them not voting out of apathy or anger at the DNC for fielding such a shitshow has to be the goal no?

I don't know what the definitive answer is to whether votes already cast for Biden would still count if he steps down...

If they do count, and someone with a lot more enthusiasm and popularity than Biden became the candidate, then I don't think that's good for us at all.

Remember people aren't voting this year FOR the Dems, they're just voting against Trump. They're literally running a pedo bagman who can't string a sentence together as their candidate.

If he were replaced tomorrow with someone like say... The Rock... Michelle Obama... Oprah... I'd be more nervous than I am today.

It depends on the state. In Texas votes cast for Biden will count for Biden if he drops out. You don't get to vote again.

Both DNC (and RNC) rules allow them to nominate a new candidate whether it's Heels-up Harris or another person, but each state has it's own rules on already cast ballots.
