Sounds like you are talking about people who say libertarian but really mean some form of Anarcho-whateverism. No one in their right mind believes our country can thrive as a Night Watchman State anymore, most libertarians mean some form of Constitutionalist. Someone who claims they are a libertarian because they want weed to be legal, but also vote for the party that wants to strip away all of your civil liberties are not libertarian. They are retarded.
