Only on 🤡🌎. That law is going to be striked down quick. But where is the accountability and repercussions for elected leaders creating unconstitutional laws? THATS a major problem with our government- no consequences.

Yea “quick” after many companies already close and flee.

Boy, that would seem like the final straw for many California businesses and residences.

Probably. RIP Texas and other warm red states.

That’s the point.

It’s like flooding a fire ant bed. They just re-swarm and make new mounds.

The purpose of this is to amplify the "wokeness" of corporations moving forward. The more the left can get corporate governance in their grasp, the more they can crack down on conservatives, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc. Get ready for "we don't serve your kind here" when you try to get ice cream.

Hey, we're in luck! White males are now in the minority! I might just come out of retirement and move back to California to help them with their diversity hire program. Nah, gonna stay in Texas and keep the extra coin in my pocket.

You'd think it wasn't real, but then you'd remember it's CA.

https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201920200AB979

Basically by the end of 2019, any public held corporation HQ'd in CA needs at least one female director, and then by the end of 2021 generally about a third of the board of directors needs to be women, and another third to be from "underrepresented" communities:

An individual who self-identifies as Black, African American, Hispanic, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Native Hawaiian, or Alaska Native, or who self-identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender.

Everyone should just say they are Q now. I mean how stupid can this get?

The current leadership should just come out as non-bianary, or some crap. Problem solved.

just have your normal board members suddenly become "gay". change nothing. force the retards to attempt to make a law about proving gayness.

I self identify as gay. There, problem solved. What are they going to do, call me a liar? Make me suck dick in court to prove it?

As a "Gender-noncomforming Transgender Lesbian"*, I welcome this opportunity for career advancement.

  • I was born a cis-male, but identify as a transgender woman, who is sexually attracted to women (i.e. therefore a lesbian), but I don't confirm to the gender norms of dress/presentation/behavior of my gender (i.e. I dress, look, and act like a cis-male). So I'm a very rare Pepe indeed - WAY up there on the intersectionality heirarchy / progressive-stack of victim-lympics. How ya like countin' them beans, libs?

I'm offering my services as token hire. If any CA pedes need a minority, get in touch with me and send me that $$$ to sit on your board lol

Most big tech companies are incorporated in Delaware. Does this law say that any company that does business in California has to have an LGBTQABCDEFG board member or what?
