If you browse youtube on an android phone, I can tell you how to fix that ad problem and how to easily download all videos or just music, and also play YT in the background when the phone is locked/on other apps.

Now.. clicky clicky into F Droid .. open it up, it's glorious. You will be introduced to a number of amazing apps you never knew existed, that you probably dont need, that you might test out anyhow, but that's not why we're here. BTW.. drink a lot more water than you currently drink, seriously. So.. search for Newpipe .. download it, install it. Your phone is gonna pull this shit again "hey youngblood, I don't be thinkin this shit here any good, ya feel me, Jack!" and you're all like "I DO WHAT I WANT I DO WHAT I WANT".. so you install it.
It's rather intuitive after this point. Search for anything you like.. may I suggest something random?
Tyrese Sweet Lady - Darkchild Remix (this song still bumps, dont @me) .. click it. Now.. hold your tiny digital horses. You can download it using the button on the right side...weirdly labeled "download". Now pick "Audio" and 128bit is fine for gym music or regular listening.. you arent getting lossless audio and come on really, you care about lossless audio quality for your Sennheiser 650s but you cant afford to buy music.. you trippin dawg!
Newpipe will periodically update to keep in line with YT's changes.. so it could be a few hours to a day or two after YT makes changes for Newpipe to catch up.

There was like 8k people watching and probably 3/4 of them were shitposters and trolls. One would think Team Gropin' Joe would at least set up some AI to ban people but that just shows how clueless they are. My favorite was when the hosts would gush about how "enthused" the audience was and how much they "loved" Kamallah.

I run a custom build of LineageOS and only install open source apps. F-Droid is the best place to get them.
+1 for NewPipe, too. It's great for streaming and downloading.
