Permastickied until the election
We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!
Rules for this thread are pretty simple. Top-level posts must be structured as such or they'll be deleted:
[STATE]
[COUNTY/CITY/etc (if applicable)]
[Position title. School board, police chief, dog catcher, tax hike, etc.]: -Who is the MAGA candidate(s), or Yes/No to the initiative. Please include an explanation (and link, if possible)
Example:
NORTH DAKOTA
FARGO COUNTY
Police Chief:
-Deputy Dangle. He puts rollerskating hookers away and doesn't afraid of anything
School tax increase
-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.
If you're looking for advice for your state/county, ctrl-F and search for it. If nothing comes up, do some research and advise others!
Can I put in a request for Kentucky? I don't see anything on Ctrl+F and I never know where to go to look this stuff up online.
If you're in Louisville, vote NO on the JCPS tax increase. Other than that, vote red for state office to keep our legislative super majority. Oh, and vote for Cocaine Mitch too
I'm waiting for some input on KY too. I typically vote 'no' on any sort of levy, prop, issue or tax but am worried that ambiguous wording will have me vote the wrong way. Are you concerned at all about Barron splitting the vote and drawing away from Team Mitch and that Amy McGrath might pull it off?
Honestly I'm embarrassingly ill informed for KY. Moved here a few months ago for professional school. My plan is to vote straight R (I used to sometimes vote D, like for Tulsi) and vote away anything that gives the government more power or money. I'm a lil paranoid about the same misunderstanding so I'd love to read the wording ahead of time and get some other peoples input.
I'm still not 100% where my polling place is, just got a vague idea. So I'm sending out some messages today.
Were you able to find your polling place? Let us help if we can! We want you to have time to research your ballot to your satisfaction too!
Yeah I had a chat with the handy man that came by to fix some minor electrical things. Great guy. Unfortunately he lost his 6 figure job at one of the coal mines when Obama smothered them. I'm not wondering what he's going to vote like.
Still no idea where I can research my ballot though.
