Permastickied until the election

We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!

Rules for this thread are pretty simple. Top-level posts must be structured as such or they'll be deleted:

[STATE]

[COUNTY/CITY/etc (if applicable)]

[Position title. School board, police chief, dog catcher, tax hike, etc.]: -Who is the MAGA candidate(s), or Yes/No to the initiative. Please include an explanation (and link, if possible)

Example:

NORTH DAKOTA

FARGO COUNTY

Police Chief:

-Deputy Dangle. He puts rollerskating hookers away and doesn't afraid of anything

School tax increase

-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.

If you're looking for advice for your state/county, ctrl-F and search for it. If nothing comes up, do some research and advise others!

Any Washington State centipedes here? I want to make sure I get my vote right on the school sex curriculum referendum vote. I oppose the new school curriculum requiring sex education taught to children, do I vote approve or reject to oppose it?

Reject the passing of it, it is teaching children sexual positions and instilling the idea that children can provide consent.

REJECT, REJECT, REJECT.

It’s confusing how it’s written up. If you look at the voters pamphlet, page 12 is the arguments for and against. First clue for anything, is to look at who is writing the arguments for and against... I rejected Referendum 90. Keep government out of sex education and leave it to parents and local schools.

Don’t forget there’s a write in campaign for Lt.Governor : Joshua Freed

I wrote in Joshua Freed, but just to double check... I don't like the sex ed referendum, so I should vote Reject on Referendum Measure 90, correct?

You are correct - Reject. If any other WA pedes want to chime in to explain it better, please do. I’m just going by what I’m reading in the voter pamphlet. In the arguments for approval it basically says that the new law that was passed for our state to be in control of sex ed will remain. Argument against it, to reject Referendum 90, is saying we don’t want this new law that had been passed. We don’t want the state teaching our Kindergarten + sex education. We want the individual schools, counties...to be in control, like it’s been in the past.

I heard Freed write-in was for attorney general. Makes more sense that it's for Lt. Governor. Thanks.

No problem. Yes on Lt.Governor.
