Permastickied until the election
We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!
Rules for this thread are pretty simple. Top-level posts must be structured as such or they'll be deleted:
[STATE]
[COUNTY/CITY/etc (if applicable)]
[Position title. School board, police chief, dog catcher, tax hike, etc.]: -Who is the MAGA candidate(s), or Yes/No to the initiative. Please include an explanation (and link, if possible)
Example:
NORTH DAKOTA
FARGO COUNTY
Police Chief:
-Deputy Dangle. He puts rollerskating hookers away and doesn't afraid of anything
School tax increase
-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.
If you're looking for advice for your state/county, ctrl-F and search for it. If nothing comes up, do some research and advise others!

I voted similarly except:
4 - yes , because fuck this whole petition amendments bullshit, we have legislators for a reason. This will limit/dissuade shit like open primaries coming to ballots.
6 - yes , cuz fuck all taxes and might as well help grieving vet spouses from extra financial hardship.
Judges I said yes to all except Joseph Lewis since he was appointed by RINO Jeb. I always find judges hard to get info on.
Judges are hard to get info on, which is why I lean toward no, but it's a good bit of info on Lewis you've provided, a no vote for him drains the swamp if he was a Bush appointee
What are you putting for President and Vice President? I wanna make sure I do it right
Pete bootygeg and kumallah
I agree with most of this but I am voting yes for amendment 4, I think because so many amendments are activist in nature, they should have to pass through 2 election cycles. Couple this with that many many people simply check yes for everything, it gives time to make people aware of the dangers and consequences of certain things passing. Further, it ensures things aren't going to pass on a whim and just have some semblance of longer term support.
Yeah, I thought that made sense as well, when I read it. I'll look down this list for any further comments about #4. I'm hoping to go in and vote in a few hours from now.
This amendment is written pretty much to keep pot from getting legalized in Florida. I voted NO because I no longer wish to support the failed war on drugs.
We shouldn't be legalizing drugs through constitutional amendments, and if we're going to legalize pot, it should be easy enough to pass through the ballot twice. We do need to decriminalize possession here, and reform our drug policies, but an amendment isn't the place to do it, in my opinion.
