Permastickied until the election

We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!

Rules for this thread are pretty simple. Top-level posts must be structured as such or they'll be deleted:

[STATE]

[COUNTY/CITY/etc (if applicable)]

[Position title. School board, police chief, dog catcher, tax hike, etc.]: -Who is the MAGA candidate(s), or Yes/No to the initiative. Please include an explanation (and link, if possible)

Example:

NORTH DAKOTA

FARGO COUNTY

Police Chief:

-Deputy Dangle. He puts rollerskating hookers away and doesn't afraid of anything

School tax increase

-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.

If you're looking for advice for your state/county, ctrl-F and search for it. If nothing comes up, do some research and advise others!

NEW JERSEY Vote no on all questions!

  1. Question 1 will legalize marijuana (ok ok I know but hear me out) HOWEVER it will be poorly regulated and taxed beyond belief, so we’ll be stuck with expensive ass, potentially moldy weed. Yeah no, fuck that.
  2. Question 2 extends a property tax cut of $250 to peacetime veterans, whereas now it’s only extended to wartime veterans. They’ll need to increase taxes across the board to account for this discount — so again: yeah no, fuck that.
  3. Question 3 will allow them to delay census redistricting until after the 2021 election; right now it’s always done a month after the census. So any gains we’d naturally get from this will be prevented from having an impact on our next election? Yeah no, fuck that, we need all the numbers we can get. Honestly pretty straightforward this time around. Godspeed fellow pedes.

We voted yes on Marijuana. Fuck the idea of it continuing to be illegal. Terrible mistake to vote No, IMO.

I voted yes for the vets, it never mentioned anything about raising it elsewhere, though you’re probably right.

Agreed on stopping the delaying the census.
