LOCAL ELECTIONS - What local elections/ballot measures do you want to advise people on?

We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!

-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.

KING COUNTY
Vote NO on AT LEAST Charter Amendments number 5 and 6. Voting in favor of either of these amendments would take away power from the sheriff, who is the voter's say in law enforcement. Amendment 5 would make the sheriff an appointed position and Amendment 6 would strip discretion from the sheriff and county. Not good.
Really, all of the Charter Amendments are solid No's. Number 1 isn't bad in theory but it is going to give bureaucrats even more power over the police. Number 2 is horrible - it lets the county sell property for under market value in order to raise funds for homeless programs. Number 3 changes "Citizen" to "public / member of public / resident" within a lot of the charter. Number 4 is supported by Nikita Oliver (who is one of the crazier politicians in the area). Number 7 is fairly benign.
